chinese water torture, but with the added refinement that you know you brought it on yourself. WHY, oh WHY do we all get suckered into journal competitions as 1Ls?
Follow up discussion question - if you tell a bunch of 1Ls that " 'x' will be great on your resume," will they do it, regardless of what it is?
even if they draw the line somewhere, will they cheerfully cross it if it's revealed that " 'x' is VERY competitive/selective"?
stupid law school. ;)
