Mmmm. BBQ

This post reminds me so much of Texas! Shiner, Elgin sausage, crazy 'cue obsessed Texans....

I went to an all women's college in southern Virginia. About an hour down the road was an all men's college. Two of my dear dear friends are twin brothers who went to Hampden Sydney. They grew up in Austin, TX. I was shocked to discover that BOTH of them had driven to college in their individual suburbans, each towing a barrell barbecue (it is just wrong that the barrell bbq website is in the UK, but whatever...) over 1400 miles just so they could make bbq and fajitas. I love them both, and they are both still insane. But man, those were good eats.
