Why oh why is it taking me so long to get through my Civil Procedure notes?

Pages of outline done: 6.25
Pages of book outlined: 82 (which isn't bad, but there are 371 in volume 1, and about 300 in volume 2. yikes)
Hours spent: freaking 5 and a half. But not really, because I've taken a couple phone calls from old friends, made brownies, knitted "just one more row" on each of 2 new projects (details soon), and incessantly checked knitblogs for the first updates from MDSW, which is absurd because the d*mn festival doesn't even start until tomorrow. Sigh.

I must focus.
